The Kitchen and Bath Design program provide classes in drawing, perspective, drafting and color. It also includes courses that provide practical expertise based on The National Kitchen and Bath Association’s guidelines. You may learn to utilize industry specific CAD software in order to plan kitchen and bath spaces in a residential setting. You may study lighting and materials, building systems and codes along with products and appliances. You may also have the opportunity to gain skills in business fundamentals such as budgets and estimates, project bidding, plus an introduction to public relations, marketing and promotions. Two internships give you real-world experience and helps build your professional portfolio. Upon graduation, you may be prepared for a variety of entry-level positions such as Kitchen/Bath Designer, Kitchen Planner, Assistant Project Manager/Installation Coordinator, Draftsperson and Kitchen and Bath Retail Sales Consultant. |
