Business Systems Administration students acquire a blend of hardware and software skills in a hands-on interactive learning environment and are exposed to a variety of computer operating systems, computer software applications, and office procedures commonly found in industry. The program`s objectives are to enable graduates to demonstrate proficiency in: Using software applications including word processing, database, spreadsheets, and presentation graphics, Conducting basic research using electronic media and Using desktop publishing software to produce brochures and newsletters. Graduates are prepared for entry-level positions across a wide spectrum of industries & both public and private & large and small businesses & and may be employed in positions such as: Information Coordinator, Administrative Support Specialist, Help Desk Coordinator, Office Assistant, Fiscal Technician, Accounting Assistant and Payroll Assistant. |
